Mendes is perhaps the best young left-back around and is only going to get better with time. PSG are likely going to snap up Mendes when his loan expires in 2022, but he's one to keep an eye on. Luke Thomas Leicester CityĪlready a regular at Leicester following Ben Chilwell's departure, Thomas looks like he could be England's left-back of the future. The 22-year-old isn't ready for that just yet on FM, but give him a year or two and you'll be laughing all the way to the bank. Gvardiol is arguably the top young centre-back on the game to start off, but if that's not enough for you, he's also a dominant force at left-back as well.
